Managing
and Building Portfolio Value
Agio's strategy for enhancing the value of its investments
includes:
- Support
the portfolio company through a prudent capital structure
allowing for growth and profitability.
- Assist
management in its efforts to focus the company and explore
new opportunities.
- Pursue
acquisitions of businesses that provide marketing, production,
administrative, or other synergies and pursue add-on strategic
investments.
Control
of Portfolio Companies
Typically, Agio acquires voting equity in the portfolio company.
Agio exercises its ownership/voting rights in the following
manner:

Agio's goal is to have a strategic impact via an active
board role. A member from Agio will serve on the board.
- Agio
does not become involved in day-to-day management of its
portfolio companies. It is not anticipated that any representative
of Agio will serve as an operating officer of a portfolio
company.
